How to protect your garden from night-time thieves. Covers free-to-play and Robux options, passive vs. active defense, and the best setups at every budget.
Defense by Budget
Nobody can steal while you're physically present in your garden — your plot auto-locks. Only works when actively playing. Not viable for AFK farming.
The Shovel (free starter item) lets you hit thieves carrying your crops, making them drop everything. Requires you to be online and reactive.
Throw at thieves to blind and stun them, forcing them to drop stolen crops. Consumable — keep a stack. Good early defense when you can't afford a Gnome.
Passive defender placed at your garden entrance. Automatically blows away any player trying to enter. Works while you're AFK. Best free-to-play defensive investment.
Patrols your garden and swarms intruders automatically. Very effective passive defense that works at all times, not just at garden entrance.
Sets intruders on fire. Makes stealing from your garden almost impossible. The strongest Sheckle-purchased defender.
Vine Wrapper immobilizes thieves in place. Freeze Ray also freezes. Together they create an essentially inescapable trap. The most powerful defensive Robux combo.
Defensive Plants
Some crops actively damage or deter thieves while also producing sellable crops — double value.
Fires projectiles at nearby intruders. Also produces sellable Super-rarity crops (3,400/kg avg value).
Eats players who enter its range. Place at garden entrance. Also a high-value Mythic crop (3,000/kg).
Damages intruders who enter your garden. Also a Legendary-rarity crop (1,700/kg).
Recommended Setups
- ✓Shovel (free — always carry it)
- ✓Flashbang × 3 (60K total)
- ✓Stay online during night phase
At this stage your crops aren't worth much anyway. Focus on farming income more than defense.
- ✓Gnome at garden entrance (50K)
- ✓Flashbang for active defense (20K each)
- ✓Dragon's Breath plant at entrance if you can afford it
Gnome is the most important purchase in this bracket. Get it before buying Legendary seeds.
- ✓Bee pet (1M) — passive full-garden patrol
- ✓Venus Fly Trap at garden entrance (7M)
- ✓Gnome as secondary layer (50K)
At this level your crops are worth millions. Layered defense is essential before logging off with ripe crops.
- ✓Black Dragon pet — near-impenetrable
- ✓Vine Wrapper (499 R$) + Freeze Ray (399 R$)
- ✓Dragon's Breath plants at multiple entrances
This setup makes stealing from your garden almost impossible. Invest here when Moon Bloom or Dragon's Breath crops are at stake.
